Ayanna Govan
Founder & Principal Designer

Ayanna’s path into interior design and construction was shaped by a series of formative experiences and a clear sense of purpose. Her passion for functional interiors and iconic architecture first emerged while studying abroad as a foreign exchange student in Copenhagen, Denmark, an experience that laid the foundation for her future career. While her aesthetic today leans more toward refined luxury, the experience instilled in her a lasting respect for thoughtful functionality and the belief that every element in a space should be both intentional and purposeful.

After pursing a degree in Business Administration, Ayanna returned to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and Architecture from Mount Mary University before founding AG Interiors. Today, she is both an Interior Architectural Designer and a Wisconsin Licensed General Contractor, a rare combination that allows her to guide projects seamlessly from concept through construction.

With more than a decade of experience in luxury design and construction, Ayanna leads each project from initial concept through final installation, ensuring every detail is executed with care and precision. Her work blends elevated design with thoughtful functionality, creating sophisticated spaces that feel intentional, refined, and deeply tailored to the way her clients live.

Beyond her work in design and construction, Ayanna enjoys exploring new worlds through literature, traveling, and experiencing diverse cuisines from around the globe.
